Greene County Medical Center invites the public to nominate nurses through Oct. 15 for the DAISY Award to be presented in November.
The internationally-known Daisy Award has been used to recognize thousands of “extraordinary nurses” for exceptional patient care for almost 20 years. More than 1,700 medical facilities worldwide honor nurses with the Daisy Award. The award has been presented at Greene County Medical Center since 2014.
Nomination forms and submission boxes are located throughout the medical center and online at www.gcmchealth.com Nominations can be made by patients, their family members, caregivers, community members and co-workers.
The nomination process is very easy, requiring only that the person making the nomination tell why he or she thinks the nurse provided exceptional patient care at the medical center.
